Toys 4 Tots collections

Members of the United States Marines are toting water jugs of money around the stadium today to raise cash for Toys 4 Tots.

Today is the first game they have appeared at this season and will attend the remaining home games.

“Many of the younger and older kids who are needy don’t get gifts for Christmas,” said Staff Sergeant Moore. “After we raise the money, we can take them shopping.”

Everything the organization collects stays in the area due to each area having their own collection centers.

The Marines are planning to set up a booth with a Hummer near Georgia Street for the remaining home games this season.
