Jacksonville Municipal Stadium has some big games this season such as the River City Showdown two weeks ago, the Florida/Georgia game on October 27th plus the Gator Bowl on New Years Day. Those three games all require extra seating capacity for the stadium. With FSU/Alabama and Florida/Georgia one month from each other the stadium has opted to not remove all the temporary seating. Two sections of temporary seating still exist in the south end zone of the stadium in preparation for Florida/Georgia.
