Jaguars lead 10-0 at the half

Moving into the second half the Jaguars have dominated the game clock, as they did two weeks ago against Denver, giving them a 10-0 lead. The Jaguars have 111-yards rushing total with 72 from Maurice Jones-Drew. The Chiefs have 120-yards total yards.

A missed field goal by John Carney still has the game within reach for the Chiefs but the Jaguars’ do get the ball first in the second half.

The only problem so far for the Jaguars’ team has been the false start penalties being caused from crowd noise. The Jaguars have committed three false starts in the first half alone. If the Chiefs get one score that crowd noise is going to increase dramatically and the false starts could be a much bigger problem in the second half.

My grades:
Offense: B, controlling the clock and keeping the run game. Just need to work on the false starts.
Defense: A-, looks like the secondary is still having some problems against the Chiefs but should improve in the second half.
Special teams: C, not much special teams play to even look at. Carney does have a missed field goal though.

Post your first half grades in the comments below.
