Chiefs come out passing strong

A quick firing opening drive by the Kansas City Chiefs seems to have caught the Jaguars secondary unit off guard. The first play from scrimmage QB Damon Huard found Kris Wilson for 30-yards then immediately finds Tony Gonzalez on a 17-yard pass. Three plays later another 15-yard pass to Samie Parker brings the Chiefs to the 12-yard line.

After driving 62-yards on only three plays the Kansas City Chiefs were sure to go up 3-0 early but a failed field goal attempt by Dave Rayner leaves the Chiefs with nothing.

If the Jaguars’ secondary continues to allow fifteen plus yard passes consistently it will be a long day in Arrowhead.
