Northcutt back in

The Jaguars opening possession ended in a punt after Dennis Northcutt dropped a pass on third down. Northcutt was sandwiched between two Panther defenders and was helped off the field. Jacksonville has announced that Northcutt is okay and was just shaken up on the play.

Carolina was also forced to punt their opening possession. Dennis Northcutt came back in on the punt return and returned the 57-yard punt for a 37-yard return. That 37=yard return is the Jaguars longest punt return this season.
