Hokies score TD

A 16-yad pass with a late hit out of bounds penalty tacked onto the end helped to spark the Hokies in a positive drive. A pass interference call later in the drive helped Virginia Tech get back into the game. Sean Glennon came back into the game at quarterback passing 5-yards to Josh Morgan for the touchdown.

The touchdown is the first offensive touchdown scored during the first half of ACC game history. The touchdown is also Morgan's second ACC Championship game touchdown scoring another during the inaugural event.

The scoring drive went eight plays for 77 yards and took 2:56 off the clock. Virginia Tech trails Boston College 10-7 after the score.
